Addio a Ulisse» : it’s a comic book, a play, a musical, and above all, a story of farewells. It reimagines the Homeric myth of the Odyssey through the perspective of its female characters (Nausicaa, Penelope, Calypso, and Circe) who see in Ulysses an unresolved love. To the sentimental abandonment is opposed the social one, represented by the existential story of the aed (who embodies both Homer and Ulysses himself at the end of the journey), a poet and artist overwhelmed by his own personal odyssey of degradation and marginalization.
«Kociss» is an immersive song-theater production centred around the legendary Venetian outlaw Silvano Maistrello, better known as "Kociss". Featuring 13 original songs by the Venetian singer-songwriter Giovanni dell 'Olivo, the show blends music, theatre, and visual art. Through my live illustrations, the audience is transported into the story, as the drawings evolve in sync with the music, bringing the story to life before their eyes… as if the audience were really present on stage.
These brief signs-drawings evoke fascinating stories, outline exciting lives full of passion and turmoil, recreating Felliniesque atmospheres born out of a fiery imagination. An art that captures the essence of emotion and dreams...
