I am Mauro Moretti — Senior Illustrator, Character Designer, Storyboard Artist, and Visuaizer. With over 40 years of experience at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and digital innovation, I transform complex ideas into clear, powerful visual narratives.

My work spans comics, advertising, cinema, and music. I began my career in sequential storytelling for major magazines, a journey that evolved into long-term collaborations with leading advertising agencies and film production companies. Today, I create storyboards and shooting boards for international campaigns, while passing on my expertise as an Instructor of Comic Art and Visual Storytelling at the Academy of Fine Arts.

A distinctive aspect of my path is research into drawing as a performative act. This has led to workshops, academic presentations, and projects like “Vedere la Musica”(“Seeing Music”), where I draw live in real-time, translating sound, rhythm, and emotion into images, giving a visible shape to sound.

Technical Mastery & Production: I seamlessly blend 'old school' discipline with modern digital workflows, specializing in traditional 2D animation and digital painting with Corel Painter. I combine master-level freehand skills with high speed of execution, allowing me to deliver professional-grade artwork even under tight deadlines and in high-pressure production environments. I am strongly customer-oriented and committed to excellence. With a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced production environments, I bring a unique combination of artistic mastery and professional reliability to every project.
