About
Mauro Moretti is an illustrator, character designer, storyboard artist and visualizer whose work explores the language of visual storytelling and drawing as a performative act.
Starting from comic strips for magazines, his path evolved into a broader investigation of sequential storytelling applied to cinema, advertising, music, and education. Alongside long-term collaborations with advertising agencies and film production companies, he carries forward artistic research focused on how drawing can translate complex ideas, rhythm and sound into images.
This research led to academic presentations, workshops on storyboarding and visual storytelling, and exhibition projects such as “Vedere La Musica (Seeing Music)” where he creates live illustrations during events and performances, bringing drawing into real-time communication contexts.
He’s known for his fast execution, strong freehand drawing skills, and the ability to quickly translate scripts, ideas, and concepts into clear visual solutions, even under tight deadlines and high-pressure production environments.
His focus remains the same: helping clients visualize their ideas before they come to life.
