Addio a Ulisse» : it’s a comic book, a play, a musical, and above all, a story of farewells.
It reimagines the Homeric myth of the Odyssey through the perspective of its female characters
(Nausicaa, Penelope, Calypso, and Circe) who see in Ulysses an unresolved love.
To the sentimental abandonment is opposed the social one, represented by the existential story of the aed
(who embodies both Homer and Ulysses himself at the end of the journey),
a poet and artist overwhelmed by his own personal odyssey of degradation and marginalization.
